Have any of you seen them grieve? Lil'bit is a fox terrier and she belongs to all of us but she was really close to Tommy and I swear that little dog will set in his spot and look at me with that pleading look like 'where is he? And she looks so sad. I've got up at nite and seen her setting there, wide awake with that look. I've been giving her special attention . Then we Gracie, Tommy brought her home to me one day 5 years ago, she is a little brown deer-head chihuahua , she's rotton and she's my baby and more so now since he is gone:( she comforts me a lot

My yellow lab was really sad. While my husband died in Colorado we live in WA he never came back. She would go to the bedroom and around the yard very sad. I got a rescue Cairin (sp?) terrier and they were pals for 3 years until this Dec. my neighbor big dog for put in my yard by another neighbor and broke her spine. I buried her and again for the last 6 months my lab has been sad while I went away to work.
A few days ago I adopted a little mute terrier and they get along great. I have to wait until her stitches from spaying to let them be together forever but so far so good. My 8 yr old lab already looks perkier. They need companions too.
