This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I just want to take this time to wish you all for all of your support and kind comments in helping me deal with the death of Michael. These last eight months have been difficult and at the same time life altering. I was extremely lucky to have found this sight and consider it a great resource to aid in my healing. My life as all of ours has changed its course and the person that I loved most does not walk by me an the physical sense. However, despite the pain of losing my life has gone on and I am finding great happiness and joy again
So again thank each and everyone of you for your love and support and it is my greatest wish that we all have a happy and amazing new year.

My mom passed away on June 18th. I was her cargiver and only child. Although she was 89 years young and it was "expected" I don't know how to BREATHE without her. I stay busy throughout the day but I can only do that so long until I burn out! I'm all alone now and don't know what I'm going to do!! I can only fake it for so long. I'm TIRED of losing my people!!!!

Matthew90 also runs regularly, it's how we became friends at first. His description of a run in the frosty air among the pines, giving me the vision of the morning mist and run as he experienced it. Running?that I will never be able to do. But he shared it freely.
