Today was okay, then this evening I watched a show, and when
all of a sudden they kissed each other, I lost it......
I miss his kisses/hugs ... Larry was just a loveable person to me
and knowing that is gone forever, is almost unbearable at times.
Where I live has been so dang hot day & night and I can't get out
and take a walk in the evening to clear my mind ...
Oh why is it so hard !!!!
Peace to you!

For me, I'm going to try a different medication. Might help.

Yes I too could have written your post today and every couple of days for the past month. Unfortunately, I do believe that these feelings are "normal" and all part of this awful process of grieving. Each day runs into the next with nothing to look forward to but another long day feeling miserable. Those normal few minutes we get I believe are given to us when it gets to be too much to bear. Those little reprieves are necessary. I sometimes get a full day of numbness where I feel no emotion at all. When that happens I know that tomorrow will probably be an emotional doozie though. I have started journaling again as a way to record my feelings, let them out and also see my progress as time goes on. I don't cry all the time anymore or even as often, but this past month the tears when they do come seem to be uncontrollable. Not out of control, but just not able to stop them from coming regardless of where I am. That is new for me too. Again all part of the process. Hang in there. I keep hearing from everyone here that there is light at the end of the tunnel and they have walked this road so they should know. Hugs, Robyn
Public libraries often have several books for the bereaved you can borrow. Some also have DVDs that are helpful, too. Typically they are no cost or very low cost, which for a lot of us is important as books and DVDs can get expensive. Librarians are also happy to help you find materials. Just a thought.
You're not crazy. You're grieving. Don't give up. You will get through this. It won't always feel like this. It's going to take some work, but you can do this. Honest.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
