It's so nice to read a post from a kindred spirit. Despite suggestions from friends, I don't see dating in my future. I'm not as far along as you are, but I know I will always feel this way. I miss the hugs, too.
Wishing you peace . . .

So sorry for your loss because I too can't even think of being with anyone else.
For now I just remember..
Again so sorry for your loss.....
I have no desire to date or have another husband.....I could never go thru this again. I just want to find a way to deal with this awful pain and being so lonely.
I searched for many years, dating around and no one ever came close, until I met her. We never fought (only the occasional minor argument), never had any animosity. She told me she loved me, every single day. At 1st, I wasnt used to it and thought it was a bit much, but I grew to like it and told her the same. She would say it several times a day, when we werent at work. I felt special and greatly appreciated it.
I'm not ready to commit myself to another. I love the company and the friendship of others but to commit just doesn't feel right, yet!
The memories that we all have and share with each other are priceless and I love hearing them.

At twenty months, I no longer feel lost. I am in my new reality. It's been a hard road. I'm seeing friends, traveling, supporting causes I believe in, so I'm fulfilling my obligation to be alive.
I miss hearing him tell me he loves me, and his arms around me. I'm still very much in love with him. He's in my heart and in my head. There's no room for anyone in my bed.
