Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Just like grief waves it will sneak up on you and often manifests symptoms similar to grief. That 7 years later after dealing with grief and clinical depression as well as ongoing family issues you are able to post and give hope to others to me is a true symbol of strength within you. It tells people that are dealing with mental health issues beyond grief yes you can still move forward. You have for the last 7 years with all its up and downs. I can totally understand you missing your rock as I very much miss my wife as a confidante and support. You are 100% right though. They are cheering us on as we move forward and when we fall I think they are even there to give us a nudge back onto our feet. Please keep building on that thread to create a blanket that will comfort you when the going gets tough. Thank you for encouraging others life does move forward even 7 years later and even when other issues are at play also. I truly wish you a sense of peace. God bless. Gerald
You give me hope that it is possible regardless of the drawbacks.
Hugs,
Jewells.
