The only thing I've found to help a bit is leaving the radio on low all night.
All the best, Sandy
I have Netflix on my iPad. There's a couple movies that I've watched so many times that I know the plots/dialog inside out. Current favourite is Star Trek Insurrection...previously it was Pride and Prejudice.
If I find I wake in the middle of the night, and my brain is buzzing, I'm stewing about past hurts, the dreaded "I-shoulda"s or the nasty "What-if"s... then I put the movie on...I don't even watch it. Listening to the dialog distracts me enough that I can fall back asleep.
If nothing else, I get to stare at Patrick Stewart or Colin Firth for part of the night. Sigh...
