Not sure if 2017 can get any worse.  My husband died in February, My daughters house was destroyed by fire in September and now while they are living in temporary housing they got evacuated from there due to the fires going on in Northern California. I am a mom that just wants to take care of her kid and feeling so miserable cause all I can think is if her Daddy was here he would know what to do. I miss Jim more everday. I do know this is all out of my control and I am praying constantly for God to take care of this whole craziness. Thanks for letting me vent. My friends and coworkers are probably getting tired of my life's tragic stories.

Wish I was there to comfort you they keep telling me life will go on I lost my beautiful partner recently if we could all get together and share our experiences I'm sure it would help. I am thinking of you at this awful time. Keith iin England x

Trouble for us in our grief is that we have limited capacity to deal with issues in other's lives. At least I did. I could barely function enough to keep my job. But as a parent, somehow you are able to reach deep inside yourself and tap into hidden reserves of love. Just knowing you are there for them to reach out to brings peace and security into their shattered lives. Do what you can Mom. No matter how bad our grief, we never lose our capacity to love. And it is because of love that we hurt so bad. Scottie
