Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
I spoke to Rob immediately and he said that the a guy kept trying to add him, and because he didn't recognise his name he rejected the friends request. He asked my exs name and it was confirmed that it was indeed my ex psycho. Rob immediately blocked him.
My psycho was jealous of my relationship with Rob, and yet i never made any secret of who my good friends were and had nothing to hide (what a mistake that was). none of my friends ever wanted anything to do with him, and he tried to get inside my head by making out that he was getting friendly with someone I trusted.
He is playing games, of course he knows it will get back to you and he wants to show you that he can infiltrate your life whether you like it or not. She needs to support you on this like my friend did and put him in his place by ignoring him or telling him to get lost.
You have a good friend.....no many people would stay truthfull to you.
My friend Rob is a good person, I went out with him 20 years ago and so he knows that what I am telling him is the truth .. he trusts me and vice versa. I went off to uni and he married someone else but we stayed friends over the years. I could not afford to let my psycho ex ruin my friendship so I acted quickly.
It s a blessing to have good friends around and especially if you were in that situation .
Jealousy is a powerful emotion and the desire to react will be very strong .. he wants that reaction and is going to great lengths to get it (in my opinion)
I really hope it will get easier. I already start to seeing how crazy it was for me accepting his behavior, but I still attached .
What can he do that beside to trying to contact me or my friends? There are no many others way to try to get into my life again.
It will get easier, I promise. He is playing games with you, because that's what they do. (plain and simple). he is crazy .. look what he is resorting to?? .. is that how a well balanced mind behaves??
You are bonded to him ..read about trauma bonds and stockholm syndrome to understand this attachment you feel towards your abuser.
'Many individuals feel the compulsion to tell and retell the events of the trauma in an attempt to come to terms with what happened to them and to try to integrate it, reaching out to others for contact, safety, and stability. The trauma bond can persist even after the individual leaves the relationship, with it sometimes taking months, or even years, for them to completely break the bond'
