It is absolutely true. There are only 2 forces that shape human existence, Good and Evil. Both act through every human being. Those of us who are normal,choose to serve Good more often than Evil. These 2 forces could also be called Truth and Lies, Love and Hate, Creation and Destruction. Harmony and Chaos. The more one choose Good, the more the soul becomes aligned with that spiritual force. S'paths fairly consistently make the wrong choices, thus aligning their souls with the force of Evil. They become Evil. Demonic.They are Satan's army in this world.

I like how it says they are like an outsider looking into their own body, Like they are puppets of a demonic force. It shows how they are really the ones being controlled by a power greater than themselves (and more demonic). I really found this excerpt interesting.

This is probably not good but I sent it to my P ex. It described him so utterly. I was curious. His response: He complained that now I have diagnosed him as a narcissistic psychopath. (Actually my therapist diagnosed him as these.) As if I am being mean and calling him names. I asked him if the shoe fits and he responded that it did not. I doubt he watched any of it. He has the attention span of a gnat and Vaknin is a little hard to follow due to his accent.

kris - what did you think he would say? Ah, yes, that's me? lol. In the beginning I would talk to my husband about what his own psychologist diagnosed him as and he would respond, "you're the sociopath". Um, ok. That was productive.

It took a long time for my brain to understand that he would never be able to have a normal conversation and I would never be able to convince him or make any difference in his life. Even to this day, I try to respond in a way that I think will shine a light on his extremely immature emotional behavior. It is something I must tell myself daily, that HE WONT CHANGE AND DOESNT CARE.

And I completely understand your curiosity and really just not getting these people.

kris be careful sending him anything or interacting with him. this is what gives them ammo to turn the tables and call you the crazy one and start a smear campaign against you. don't give him the info he isn't going to just agree and say oh your right that's me. you wont get validation from him in any way about any of what he ha done to you. its more the opposite and will be thrown back in your face and be made out to be your fault that he did what he did. youll never get the answers you need from him it will come with educating yourself about what he truly is and why it all happened the way it did. youll get your validation here from others who have walked in your shoes. and I too believe they are spiritually broken and are the walking evil in our society. they will pay the price someday probably for eternity in the spirit world.

I know all this, of course, He won me over to his dark side a little bit yesterday with his copious e-mails about missing me in the moonlight, his longing love, and how he knew all the things he had done to me. He doesn't know, of course. He is just playing magician, trying to make the reality of nonreality.

Yes, It is intriguing how Sam Vaknin works at telling the truth, which goes against his grain as a narcissist. I found him on the Internet 12 or so years ago, and wondered about this. I thought, if he can do it, why can't others? And DOES he do it? Then I found a question and answer about this on his site. He said that it is a constant battle (this was 12 years ago) and he still (then at least) sometimes fooled himself. I guess this would be the same as saying this the false self was running the show, and then he realized it.

So is that guy Sam Vaknin a Narcissist or therapist? I know his accent was tough, but he comes off as very unemotional and strange which makes it hard for me to follow him, but something didn't seem right with him.

he is a sociopath/narcissist. he has taken his defect and personality disorder and turned it into a million dollar money maker. he can make sense but he is still a master manipulator and as evil as they come I feel. making a profit off of his personality disorder. ive seen other videos of him where he is a rude arrogant prick to everyone who comes in contact with him.

I take away the fact that he is one, and just focus on his description of one. He is arrogant and seems to be more self aware than most sociopaths. A therapist once told me when someone is telling you about themselves, listen up. My psychiatrist told me it was on point. The same therapist who said my S was the worst he had ever seen. great.

Bella this explains why I found him disturbing to listen to. I thought at first it was his accent but I found him smug and off putting. Strange the last two relationship in my life were with Ns and yet I didn't feel what I felt in person a I did with a man in a video

Sam Vaknin has a strange affect. I guess I would have said, before thinking about this, that all psychopaths are narcissists.How could they not be when everything they do is for their own benefit? The sadism and cruelty they exhibit towards their victims provides them with some sort of narcissistic thrill, doesn't it? Don't they feel like King of the World when they totally dehumanize, shame and disempower their victim? If their feeling is, "The more I can disempower you, the more powerful I feel," then how can that not be narcissistic? This is why I felt such cognitive dissonance when my P, who ostensibly embraces the fact of his psychopathy, was incensed when I suggested he is a narcissist.

But like Mizdandelion's, my P, in no way, has that mechanical affect that Sam Vaknin has. In fact, he cries real tears more than anyone I have ever met. I am wondering if one can be a narcissist and not a psychopath, but one cannot be a psychopath and not a narcissist. What do others think?
