I just can't believe how many and many lies he said! In my face! He seemed so sincere….and I knew he was lying! It's incredible!

It IS incredible. And they enjoy it. They enjoy the lying, and tricking and setting the victim up.

They feel all these horrible things within themselves and the only way they can get any relief is to get another person to feel these things and act them out. You become the puppet theatre of their living Hell.

I just can t believe someone can have such a horrible soul. Especially a person I shared my intimacy with. I really can t see that!

You are describing the stage where your own real love won't let you believe it. In your heart, you "know" it can't be true. You "know" this was love. I went through this before, years ago, so I know this stage well. I am coming out of it for the second time in my life now. There is a cognitive dissonance between your heart and your mind, and your heart is still winning the struggle right now.

And yes, there is a whole group of people who have such horrible souls and they are called psychopaths.

Kris same for me.... The second time!! It s like he was two different people.... One is evil and the other one a fantastic person very in love! How can I put those two together??? I m not able!

Mtumotr that s what I think! If must be a little part of them that love is in some way, that care in some way. I can t believe that s not possible.

Two months ago he was emotional telling me he is gonna propose soon and after I act jealous for two weeks, now he is already with another person and he told me he wasn t happy!

Sociopaths do "love" people in their way. They have very little sense of self, so they can only feel normal by projecting a character onto someone and having it reflected back to them. If they're also a narcissist, they crave admiration. They have their needs - sex, someone to talk to when they are bored, someone to control so they can feel powerful. That need that you feel from him is real, it just isn't what you think of as love. If he wasn't getting that connection from you, anyone else who meets his needs would be just fine. Love for them is like food. If you can't eat a hamburger, who really cares as long as the taco place is open.

That sounds about right, Harleen. But they are simultaneously using, backstabbing, sabotaging, lying to, lying about, and cheating on, the person they claim to love. They will discard that person if they can find a bigger prize. Every love object is a temporary sticker for their ego.

It may be love to them. But it's less than nothing to the love object. It's a broken heart, ruined finances, damaged trust and self-esteem and a ruined reputation. Who needs that kind of "love?"

So my ex cheated, betray me after he swear he would never do it, put me in an eviction situation, left me when I needed him…..and I still have doubts he may be a P…..

He sure sounds like one. All you have to do is read up on the characteristics of one and if he fits into some, yep he is. You are just in shock mode. Don't worry, he will call you back. Try to make it as long as possible, keep studying on psychopaths and you will be able to predict his behavior. Here is my thing, if HE loved and could bond, he would not have moved on so quickly. My exP is like that and we have 15 years invested (on and off but still). I have 4 of his kids (10 years age difference from first 2 and youngest 2). It took me 13 years to figure out what he was. I met him when I was a teenager. Get away, find someone that can make you happy. Why should WE have to play a game and compete with anyone else for someone's love? They can't love, they can't bond. My exP left me 8 months pregnant, with kids, moved over an hour away just to dog us after 3 months. I was CRUSHED but I survived, and I'm stronger now than ever. I do answer my phone (bc I left the door open as a point I've blocked in the past and it always blew up in my face). I listen to his crap. I am so tired of sorting through lies, he's almost 33 and his mask falls constantly, he can go from sweet to evil in minutes, tell one story and at the end of the conversation change that story. I hang up every single time thanking God or the high power, someone, for saving me from that death trap. They slowly suck you from energy, from life, make you miserable. It's not worth it. I'd rather be single and lonely my whole life than to live with that crap.

The game is this, TO BE HAPPY. Focus on YOU. Find out what makes YOU happy. What takes YOUR MIND OFF of him. Off of your 'pathological' made up fairy tale relationship that is not true! Like I have said, they can not bond, they can not love. While you are all mentally caught up, he's living for the moment.. My ex has even told me that before, crying, saying he can't think about tomorrow or next week, he thinks of right here right now and what can I get out of the person I'm around (who can he manipulate to get what he wants). And they are very very jealous insecure people so if you put all of him and his crap in a box, and put it away (I say it to myself all the time when I start obsessing), and picture a stop sign every single time, give it a few weeks and you will change your thought process to help you not even think about him until he does call, then you won't want to deal with it.

And remember, remember ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. You will never get an apology, an explanation, they aren't wired right in their heads. I find myself dwelling on that every now and again, I want him to show me he's sorry (he's told me a bazillion times he's sorry) but that doesn't cut it. It's really a hopeless battle that prevents one from living their life. Be happy and successful. I wouldn't care if you were so bored wanting a conversation, you are busy. Take a bath, get a hobby, read a book, find YOUR inner peace. And I'm not religious but I prayed a whole hell of a lot during my stages.

I really want to stay NC with him for sure, but I wanted to have the satisfaction to ignored him at least if he is gonna contact me again. But of course …….. I do not wanna anything to have to do with him. He ruined my life and made me change in a person I do not like….without hope, insecure and sad.

I can relate to the revenge part.Dont call him.He will call probobly when you meet someone new or just dont care

I never did it last year as well after he left me alone after I lost our baby…..
