Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
It's kinda creepy even thinking about our 'relationship", since she probably told her co-workers we were just room mates, with them asking me why it was my business what she did after work, with shy/dumb/embarrassed me not wanting to talk much.
And then there's the almost funny business of her claiming to her co-workers that I was stalking her afterwards, though she lived 8 miles away, me without a car cause of the accident, and very glad that years of this stuff was finally over----cause somebody else was willing to take care of her. And, on one of last times ms socipath called me she said: "you're gonna get your legs broke, pal"; I immediately called her sister up in western usa, with her sister telling me to be afraid!
many years later kinda creepy and funny.
Female sociopaths can maybe get away with more than male sociopaths cause society can still be naive about male/female roles.
I actually had the police and one of her ex-co workers show up at our door, cause the co-worker was afraid when she disappeared from her job, as though I was some monster; ms sociopath probably quit that job cause i went looking for her one night, and actually met two of her co-workers---who probably were given a totally different description of 4-eyed me. Another group, a year later, said how I was different from how ms. sociopath described me, months after she first talked about me, and i finally met them....when she hitchiked (!) to another state.
Unable to keep a job, and fire nonsense---two more sociopath cliches that applied to ms. sociopath. It's kinda creepy to use the word "gf" re her: i only use her initial if I think of anything new about her for my diary.
"I feel like such a nerd' i joked to her sister after we finally broke up, with her sister laughing, and telling me ms sociopath even made fun of the way i looked.
Ms sociopath wasn't preety, or nice, or smart, or rich---but there really are dumb, lonely, guys like myself ready-made for such people, especially since she only had a far away sister for a relative, and eventually told me she was schizophrenic...and had cancer! (The cancer came up when she was tired of the bunch she met while hitch-hiking, in her 30s)
Creepy, stupid, and funny...and not exactly good for a hetrosexual man's ego. I started on this site in December, and finally revealed this deep dark secret.
Yes, my whole problem, back to teen years, had to do with me staying quiet about my drunken parents---who complained about sober me! Thanks to my first computer in 2007, and revealing this stuff on the internet, I finally started figuring out my past, in my olde age. Way back in my teen years I had to shut off my brain, stop figuring things out, to deal with my parents' craziness.
Yes, after a long talk with her sister when this was over, I read all I could about sociopaths at a city library. And I later accidently came across a book about adult children of alcoholics, which stated adult children of alchoholics put up with a lot of nonsense, and become caretakers to the wrong people, cause that became normal to them while growing up with alchohlic parents.
Toxic parents, a poor schizophrenic uncle who spent almost his entire life in a state mental hospital, me an only child, maybe I have avoidant personality disorder, and then a sociopath for one of the few girlfriends in my life....I am able to laugh at all the nonsense I went through. Feels better, though, to complain on the internet about it.:)
Just you know.....I think it's very common to see everyone as P after an experience like that. I think the same about men.
EyesOpenedN's pun is probably the way to go.
One of my many self-help desktops is a Clarence Darrow (!) quote of: "if you lose the power to laugh, you lose the power to think." I've added that to my photos here.
yeah, male victims and female victims wind up having the same suspicions about the opposite sex.)
