there were times i ran slower when during formation pt but even as a petite female, the sad thing is that the other branches still couldn't ever match our speed or distance, even when i was on light duty!

when i was at ft leonardwood MO, the army used to try and run with us. are usual PT was at 0430 anywhere from 6-10 miles. i was sick with a chest cold when i was there, but even when i fell out of the run, i stayed with everyone to the finish, but the army.... the army only stayed with us for the first 2 miles. and once past that, they would fall back and back. and if we hit a hill, it was over for them! LOL! they would just disappear back there! i felt bad for the times i fell back when i was sick, but still the army was back there even way slower. how is it that they can't catch up to a sick person?? and they are healthy! you know of all the runs we did while at ft lost-in-the-woods, i don't think the army EVER finished with us or even made it to the finish line! that should say something about their training (or lack there of) ha ha ha!!!!
