As veterans we once swore to protect the Constitution. Today more than ever it seems the Constitution is under constant attack, disrespect, disregard, and alteration. I keep reading and hearing things like "It's out dated..." or "Further clarification should be added..." etc.

As vets, what kinds of things can we do to help protect it? I have written to governors, congresmen, and senators in the past and never got a reply before. I feel like we depend on other people too much. How can our voices be heard?

I wish I knew. Seems the only thing politicians pay any attention to is themselves and our wallets. I think if Obummer dictates thru "Executive Order" that the Constitution is Obsolete, we'll have scenes in America like those in Syria. Hope not, but afraid so. Then the question will be Now what do we do. Jail all the dissenters? That's just a a short step to Hitler.

Next month, our President and Commander will likely repeat the standard oath or affirmation twice, once on Sunday and again on Monday, per Wikipedia, since Inauguration Day falls on Sunday.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
