hmmm... carrot sticks. Gotta love them.
I work in a Dr's office. So shouldn't I, along with everyone else that works there, be a role model for our patients? I mean, seriously, should I advise my patients that they need to eat healthier and exercise if I'm not doing it myself? I'm not perfect, I do need to lose about 15 lbs, but overall, I'm working on it. And I can share my personal experiences of how challenging, but rewarding, it is.
From a new veg's perspective, I can say that when a Dr started with our practice a few yrs ago, and I learned he was a vegetarian, I was curious, and admired him. But I didn't think I had the STRENGTH to follow what I thought was a strict diet. I think if more people just TRIED it (even for just a few days), they would see it can be a challenge, but its not as hard as they think.
