Based on what I read, you can drink Orange Juice or get different sources for Vitamin C. Vit C helps iron absorption.

I would up your intake of spinach and kale is a good one too, just like jbradsen suggested. Broccoli is a good one too. If you eat foods with iron along with foods containing vitamin C, then the iron absorbsion is increased.
If your looking for a cereal with iron in it, have bran flakes.
Have a look online on google if you need more ideas, that's what I do.
I think anemia is only a bad thing to have if it goes untreated. So I'd suggest getting tablets from the doctor and eating our suggested foods. Good luck to you x
