Urinary Incontinence Support Group
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary excretion of urine from one's body. It is often temporary, and it almost always results from an underlying medical condition. Stress, functional, and urge incontinence are the most common forms. Share with other support group members and learn from their stories and experiences.

I know how it feels when someone notices your diaper. I wear diapers because of an accident I had when was seven years old. My mother blamed me for the accident and I had to pay for it therefore she put me always in thick coloured cloth diaper with white or yellow plastic pants.
I had many occasions where I just hoped the earth would open and swallow me up. Mostly in school as my school uniform did not always covered my diaper pants which were very embarrassing situations for me at that time. My peer students laughed at me and in retrospect I think that one teacher enjoyed it seeing me in my diaper because I had to sit in the first row during his classes.
Today I have no problem any more when someone notices my diapers. It has helped me a lot to leave home and my girlfriend supports me a lot. I now accept having to wear diapers and I say to myself it is like a cast when you broke something.
I love wearing leggings and I even when we/I go shopping I wear my leggings over the well padded bottom.
Through this forum here I found out that there are many people out there which have the same issues and had to deal with the same problems. This is a great relief and I live much more relaxed.
I hope you do not feel embarrassed when someone spots your diaper.
No One SHOULD EVER have to be Embarassed Again!!!!!!!

I checked the website out, and a couple of things to note are that the products appear to be designed just for women, and they are designed to cope only with light incontinence.
I am not fully incontinent, but I have an overactive bladder combined with an enlarged prostate, which leaves me needing to release my bladder very frequently - or face accidents when I can't find a toilet in time.
I've tried medication but I can't live with the side effects (and didn't find it particularly effective anyway). My solution is to wear a nappy if I can't be sure that I will be able to find a toilet when I need one.
One thing I have learned, though, is never to trust products that are rated as only giving light to moderate protection. I wear a nappy to take away the anxiety over my bladder. If I am still anxious about whether my protection will leak or not, then I've not solved the problem (and I have had some horribly embarrassing experiences when my protection has let me down).
I do occasionally worry that someone may recognise that the bulge under my clothes is a nappy. But I wear loose and long clothing to hide my shape, and while I have sometimes felt that I've got an odd look while I've been out, no one has ever said anything. Most likely no one noticed anything either.
Only a handful of delegates applied. He did the same in Japan - and got 700 participants to a well-signed major conference centre. Culture?
