I think it is a good idea to wear diapers on the plane. I have just come back from Australia and it was were hard for me on the plane because I kept on having to run to the bathroom. I also had a accident, I wet my pants. I do suggest if anyone is flying take some extra clothes with you on the plane. Yes the bathrooms are small.

I fly a lot internationally and on a lot of overnight flights. I usually use a super absorbent diaper like a Molicare Super plus or a Tena Super with a boost pad. I also wear some type of waterproof pants over the diaper to catch any leaks. The key is to wear a diaper that is absorbent enough that it will not leak after the first wetting

You can also put a baby diaper or one of the male pads or poise pads inside the diaper and when it is wet just take it out and the diaper is still mostly dry. This will work if you use a diaper with the cloth outer cover and velcro tabs. You can also wear two diapers and just remove the wet one. I wear like a photographers vest that has large pockets that will hold extra pads and wipes.

On the larger planes on the international flights there is often a handicapped bathroom and that does give you a bit of extra room to change.

I HAVE FOUND THAT WHENEVER I GO OUT OR TRAVEL, I DOUBLE UP AND WEAR TWO DIAPERS. IF I HAPPEN TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT, I SIMPLY TEAR OFF THE INSIDE WET DIAPER AT THE SIDES, PULL IT OFF, TOSS IT AND GO. SAVES THE TROUBLE HALF THE TIME OF UNDRESSING, PUTTING ON THE DIAPER AND RE-DRESSING. ADDING A PAD IN ADDITION MIGHT HELP BUT IT MAY BE VERY BULKY. I TRY TO LIMIT DRINKING TOO MUCH WHEN I'M OUT TOO. HOPE IT HELPS.

I wear diapers on all flights domestic and international. I have found that I need a diaper change every 3 hours in order to sit more comfortably and avoid rash. My diapers can last longer if needed, but then I run the risk of leaks, or rashes. I've also found that flight attendants will let you go to change in the bathrooms even durring fasten seatbelt times if you discretely let them know. After all, you do have to get the diapers from the overhead if you have them in your carry-on lugage. Which brings up another interesting thing. I keep a smaller bag with wipes powder and a couple disposables in a smaller purse-like bag. And I slip in new diapers as I use them. I've had a few glances and thought I was found out, but no one has ever been rude or immature enough to say something to me regarding my diapers.

when flying you can change your diaper anytime is that right.i thought the bathroom where too small to change in for diapers.so which is true then about getting your diaper change on a plane???? i don't know???

I use Abena X plus with a booster and a male guard when I fly. When I wet the first time, I go to the restroom and remove the guard and now have a fresh diaper. In addition, I use barrier cream to prevent the rash. You can flood the x plus 2 or 3 times and not have any leaks. It also absorbs the moisture so you don't feel like you are sitting in a wet diaper. Good luck.

A little different question but does anyone have any ideas on anything to wear in the water (at the beach). I would love to wade in the ocean but afraid those days are over for me since urinary incontinence after surgery.

I just wear a bathing suit. It will get wet anyways.

I wear Depends undergarments all of the time. I have tried other brands sold at grocery stores etc. and I like them the best. Thay have just come out with a 6 pack of Ladies panties - beige and light purple.

I've used Tranquility ATN and a Booster Pad successfully. Good Luck and Relax.
