Hi, I have COPD and have to sleep in my recliner at night to be able to breath and sleep good. The trouble I am having is wetting my chair every night. I wear Depends Undergarments, but sometimes the flow is so enormous that they even leak. My question is, why am I not waking up when I feel the need to go to the bathroom? Am I doing this because I am struggling so hard to breath that my bladder is under alot of stress? Please give me any suggestions and answers as what might be causing me to do this. I am so tired of this.
and try the Tena Super or the Molicare super plus brief. It really sounds like you might need something more absorbent than the Depends. Duraline also has what are called booster pads or liners that will increase the capacity of the diaper or underwear quite a bit. Look at the Abena X-plus and he also sells the Molicare line.
I have been purchasing products from both these companies for several years and they have excellent customer service.
After a lot of trial and error I have been using cloth diapers at night when I am at home and disposables during the day and at night when I travel. Post back here & I can get you info on where to buy cloth diapers and the waterproof pants to go with them if you are interested in going that way.
I hope this helps a little. There is no reason you should be waking up with wet clothes or furniture with the products now available.
