Turned down a job

Hello everyone I applied for a warehouse job last week I was suppose to go in for an interview I told my parents about the job the hours were from 4 am in the morning till 4 pm my parents told me that would not work because I don't drive and they have to take me so I tuned down the job it was also 25 miles away from my house I m still trying to find a job but so far no luck

I don't have a car and many jobs in my town are not along a bus route or so far across town I'd have to live on the bus. I understand having to let a job go by. I skip so many job offers due to them being out of my reach. Hang in there.

The commute is very important.
Focus on jobs that are near public transit, walk, bike.

same way here in AZ. before my mother "bought me a crummy car (yes it is crummy something i NEVER asked for," i was applying for jobs back in college and some interesting employers i wanted were too far away. i lost out on a lot of jobs which is why my work history is terrible. the city i live in has some jobs on the south side, but if u want the good paying jobs, you gotta go north which requires a lot of experience something i dont have.

phoenix has shit for jobs and it is the capital! other cities i am looking at close to home i have seen some interesting openings, again, more exp is required. the further away it is the limited the bus service....
