Is this the begining of a new round of mega-layoffs in America.....needless to say there will be a severance bonus given some wonderkind who made really bad marketing decisions and drove the product off of a cliff along with those 4,000 now ex Motorola employees ,,,

Wow. Just no job security anymore. I wonder how many of those had college degrees.

I would suspect all of them...I once applied at Motorola many years ago when the labor market was fluid and far from what it is now ,,,I remember having to take a tech competancy test just to be considered this was on top of a degree...I didn't come close...

hee hee, sorry Soiledguy. Just read your reply#4. Have this satire sense of humour today, so please excuse, by why would the employers need mercy should they hire one us bunch?

im not surprised at all they are always doing layoffs. my dad is an ex employee of motorola they didnt lay him off they retired him in 07 which he couldnt believe.

Hey catwoman, I guess what I wrote did not make alot of sense. It probably should say have mercy on those dumb ass employers who are letting us all go and not hiring.
