so sorry you have to go through that. someone asked me what I was waiting for and if i knew I was growing old? she even asked if i was pregnant already. I responded by saying thanks for your concern, when am pregnant you will see it, eyes rolled. Like it gets to a point where you need to get it straight with them once and next time they will think twice before making insensitive remarks. Am on month 12 with no luck, on on we go , we just have to keep trying and keep the faith, it is well. Hugs

Thank you for responding! I am glad to know I am not alone. Keeping hope and faith is a little more difficult around this time of year for me. I long to create a Christmas for a little one and share my favorite time of the year with a kiddo. In the meantime, I will enjoy the time with my husband and dog.

People have no regard to feelings anymore. Im 28 and my mom has been at me for 8 years avout having her little grandbaby for her. After a failed marriage, college, and my wonderful marriage we finally decided to try. 24 months later, nothing. That one stupid pink like that seems to laugh at me. At month 12 we were told i had cysts and that took 9 months to get rid of. And i figured once i got rid of them it would be easy breezy you know? So here we are at month 24. Went to the doc. She finally decided to do some blood work. Thank god it said im ovulating at least but my AMH is high. Which is one way to tell for PCOS. Im so annoyed. Cause the doc is like well its Gods timing and I get that but my body is so f*cked up from the birth control you had me on for 8 years. So, my doc wanted to put me on clomid and do an hsg and check me for endometriosis. I said no. Thats just more sh*t you are putting my body through. So i looked up a few things. The number 1 thing that causes us to not get pregnant is horomonal imblance. The natural way to get that straightened out is our eating. Ive read some people just started eating healthy, working out a couple times a week, and watching their stress level and BAM! It happened. One lady i read her body was so screwed up she had to go on a raw food diet for 3 years to straighten her out and it took 6 for her to get pregnant. Im not sure what im going to do yet. I dont think i could go on a raw food diet. Lol but i do feel we need more answers then what we are getting told.....

Sounds familiar!!! "So now you've got your first home you know what's next!!" One time I just said "I'm trying my bloody hardest thanks!" Their face was a picture but then I got that sympathetic look and "oh it will happen when you're ready"...

I sat in the hairdressers the other week listening to 5 other women (one just had a baby and another pregnant) talk about pregnancy and babies for 2 hours. I just wanted to curl up!!!

I don't know if I love or hate the sympathetic looks. On one hand, they probably don't know what to do/say but on the other, I don't really want their sympathy. I just want them to be more sensitive in their comments.

I used to get really snappy - "would you like to know the last time I took my birth control pill?" "Are you asking me if I am ovulating right now?" Just to try to make them feel as uncomfortable as I felt... but that was not helpful to anyone.

We have been trying for over 10 years. The most hurtful comment I have received is just after I say no I don't have any children. When the other person (who has children mind you) says " oh man are you lucky! " It makes me so upset to know that here I am wanting a child and here this person is that can have as many as they want and they seem to see it as an inconvenience. I don't really say anything because honestly it's no one's business. The people that matter in our lives know what is going on.
