I go back and forth with how I feel about the false hope thing? One side, if I let myself get excited, I've "cursed" myself. But, on the other hand getting excited and having hope keeps me calm and really happy. Lately I let my happy thoughts run wild and It helps to keep my chin up. So maybe this really will be your month! And If not, you may not be any more crushed than if you had no hope. You know?
I'm newly addicted to acupuncture and I've done yoga for about 15 years! Both help so much!
Good luck with your cycle!
I did try acupuncture and loved it but it has gotten too expensive to continue as I'm not working due to fibro. But I found it very relaxing and may continue it after I get my disability sorted.
I LOVED yoga ever since high school and am also hoping to get back into it once I get my final round of testing done and a treatment plan under way. I'd highly recommend both and of course massages are beyond wonderful for relaxing!
Good luck this time round or as they say on TTC boards - "Baby dust"!
You know what, I really love the idea of letting my happy thoughts run wild. That's what I'm going to do! At least until I decide to take the next step. I mean, why sit around thinking I've cursed myself by getting my hopes up? There's always next month! And there's always more treatments to be tried!
I really have to try both acupuncture and yoga. I can't believe I've never done yoga actually...but I just haven't. I need to try to fit both in this or next month I think!
Thanks again :)
Your story sounds similar to mine. The process of IF has been a struggle but this group is AMAZING!
I will start my first IUI this month and to say I am scared and nervous is the understatement of the century but these women have been instrumental in calming my nerves!
I am so glad to hear about the clear HSG results, I had the same thing, its just hard to hear nothings wrong...
The thing that has best worked for me for "relaxing" is Yoga and just plain old running. I am not much of a runner - I mainly work with cross training and weight lifting. But surprisingly getting outside (now that its colder) has been a lifesaver.
Good music - and a long road will work wonders.
Hope this help.
Virtual hugs to you lady!
