As for blood tests, day 2 is pretty common. Be sure the test for FSH, AMH, TSH, and all the other hormones! I believe I also have blood/ultrasound later in the cycle too, probably mid cycle.
I think you just call you Dr with day 1, and then they get you in for blood on day 2 or 3. I would call now to double check. They should have given you better directions. I've been to two Re's and both have blood/ultrasounds early in the morning everyday but Sunday. It's pretty easy, in and out stuff. Then usually you can get results same day.
I hope that helps!
My doc gave me the requisition for the blood tests yesterday and it explained it all. One on the third day, one on the 21st. He and the lab I have to go to is all walk ins so I just take the req. Form with me on those days and get them done, no appt needed! I am halfway through thus cycle though so I have to wait a few weeks for the next one. But I am going on holidays next week so I am glad I got my results before I leave so I am not thinking about it while I am gone!
I am doing ok. Being on holidays was nice because it took my mind off all of the TTC stress. Right before I left I found out although my DH's SA results came back normal, the OBGYN wants him to do one more before she will see me. Which will make things take longer as my DH works out of town so it will be awhile before he can get in for his next test. AF should be showing up any day now then I can start on the blood tests I need to do. I just want all this testing to be over! I hate carrying this stress everyday :(
