Question about OPK and doc visit

Ok so Friday I came back with a positive OPK at 3pm and had some of what I think was ovulation cramps. Me and my husband bd around 11pm. I checked again this morning at 9am and just as strong if not more darker positive line shown. So we bd around 10:30am. Since my OPK is still positive does that mean I haven't ovulated yet? Do you know you've ovulated when the line is negative?
I usually have two days of positive...i'm trying to figure out if I should continue bding and how often.

I've been trying to get pregnant for almost a year now so I'm really hoping this time is the one! I go to the doctor Tues to talk about why I haven't...not sure what I should ask ?? I'm 32 been trying for a year and I feel like i've tried everything I can..

I've used OPK's for about 2 years since our m/c. I always ended up with a + each month. My RE says to have bd that day and 36 hours later. We are going to meds and IUI this month and are thinking it may be him so will know more when she does a SA at the same time of the IUI. This is about as invasive as we are going so hopeful we'll get good news??

Normally a woman will ovulate anywhere from 12-48 hours after getting their 1st positive OPK.

There's a plan called the "Sperm Meets Egg Plan" (SMEP) and they suggest having sex the night of your first positive OPK, then 2 more nights in a row, skip a day and then do it one more night. I know a lot of people whom have had good luck with that plan.

Exactly what Whistle79 said.....When you get the FIRST positive OPK you should ovulate sometime between 12 and 48 hrs later. You actually want the sperm up there waiting for the egg....so thats why you want to BD the day you get the positive and the next two days too...sperm live for up to 5 days I think.....so I would def BD a few more times!!!! I used OPK and they worked for me.....that and Clomid.....I did exactly what i told you.....and I am 20 weeks preg after having a horrible MC at 16 weeks. We also tried for about 3 years.
