So does anyone know why after a pregnancy test sits out for a while it can turn positive? It's just evil to take a test and wait the allotted time and BFN and then see it in the trash 2 hours later and it looks like a BFP! UGH!!!

:( idk but once time i did one early in the morning and dh found it and it had an evap line and he thought it was positive. he was freaking out happy, just asked if it was positive or not and i told him no. :( so i guess all i can suggest is when that 10 minute window is up, you gotta wrap it up in tp and throw it away! where you can't see it! out the window, whatever you gotta do.

and thats why i just do the digital ones lol! its either pregnant or not pregnant and the words go away after 24 hours lol!!! yes they are more expensive but i would die if i thought it was positive and i t was really a negative

Westbrook22- the digital ones are not always reliable either. My BFF just took one last week showed pregnant! She was so excited went to the doctor the very next day and their test showed Negative. AF showed a couple of days later. I have read where a lot of people get false positive with the digital ones. Hers also still said pregnant long after 24 hours.

In Feb 2010 I actually had 1 positive pregnancy test, my period was 5 days late so I took a test and sure enough it was positive! Then 2 minutes later or less I started my period...not sure if I was pregnant or if it was a fluke?!!? That happened about 4 months before I was actually pregnant. My Dr. said it was probably a pregnancy, but I dont think so, I mean how could I have gotten pregnant 1 time in Feb, then again in June (the same year) and now I have been trying for over a year, and NOTHING?!?! I think it was a fluke. Has that happened to anyone before? Is that a chemical pregnancy maybe?
