Hi! Has anyone who had little CM or No egg white CM used Preseed to increase CM? Does it help? If not how about Prim Rose Oil? We have been TTC for 4 months, and I think that is the problem. I produce some CM, but not the egg white type everyone says is SO fertile. I was pregnant about a year ago and miscarried, so I am really wanting to conceive, but learning that I don't produce the "egg white" CM has been a real downer in the whole TTC process. It has been very stressful. If anyone has had a similar situation, any advice would be helpful. Thank You!

Its my understanding that Preseed is a lubricant. It doesn't actually increase your CM, but it will help with lubrication and is formulated to be sperm friendly. I haven't used it myself (yet) but I have heard a lot of women sing its praises and say that's the reason they got pregnant. Using the Evening Prim Rose supplement may take a little while to kick in, but again I've heard a lot of women say it has helped. So I would say it would be worth a shot to try them out. Personally, as much as I like the more natural route, I'd go for the Preseed just because its more of an instant gratification.

I think one of the best answers to a shortage of fertile mucus is FertileCM (one of the FertilAid products). I have used PreSeed and evening primrose oil, too, because we were trying ANYTHING and everything to get pregnant. Personally, I think PreSeed is a rather unpleasant lubricant, but since it is sperm friendly we did give it a try.

The month we got our BFP, I had taken FertilAid, FertilCM, Royal Jelly, Evening Primrose oil, Maca Harmony Femminessence and another supplement or two I can't remember. My RE was in favor of my medley of supplements and they worked where Clomid didn't.

Thank You both for your responses. So far I am trying to drink LOTS of water, increase my vitamin C intake, and cut down on caffiene. I ordered Preseed on line, and plan to go to the grocery store an get some Flax Seed and Prim Rose Oil. I guess if none of that works I will try something else. TTC is very frustrating. I have no children and want to be a mother so bad. I am new to this site, but I am so glad I found it!!!! Thanks Again!!! Good Luck to you both:)

I take EPO too because it does increase CM quality but you have to be careful when you take it.

"Evening Primrose Oil or EPO should only be taken from menstruation to ovulation. This is because Evening Primrose Oil or EPO can cause uterine contractions in pregnancy."

Lakefrontsun makes an EXCELLENT point! What she says is true of ALMOST all supplements to help you conceive. Many doctors even say Flax Seed Oil increases risk of miscarriage, so I stopped that after ovulation, too. VERY IMPORTANT to monitor ovulation when you take supplements to aid conception and STOP any that are contraindicated for pregnancy after ovulation. Start again at your next cycle. Thank You again. I will definitely stop the EPO and Flax seed oil after I ovulate. I should be ovulating at the end of this week...I am really keeping my fingers crossed that SOMETHING will work this time around. TTC is consuming my life! I am trying to not let it, but it is next to impossible for it not to, especially with my sister pregnant and it seems like everyone else is too! And yes LOTS of Baby Dust to all of you guys:)
