UGH that is so frustrating. Must be so hard to deal with your husband going out of town. I often think, oh no this is the day we didnt do it and this is the day that could have been the one. Torturous thoughts. But he will be back and things will work out. No comfort in the moment, I know.

As for the pregnant patient, I want to shut her up for you. There are people I work with pregnant with their umpteenth child and they are under 25. And friends that are pregnant who I have to support through conversations where they vent about headaches, and wonder whether or not they should even have done this now. I would take the most uncomfortable pregnancy ever at any time. I understand they have a journey too but... it's just hard. You know how it is.

Some moments are OK, some moments are terrible. And it will only get better when we have healthy babies. Until then, I am wishing you the best and glad someone out there is screaming inside through their day too (well not glad, but comfort in numbers, you know!).

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. It's been my experience that unless you or someone very close to you, has struggled with infertility, people are absolutely clueless about it. Leaving others around them susceptible to insensitive, uncouth, at times crude comments. It's happened to DH and I a few times and it never seems intentional. But, it doesn't lessen the sting to be aware of their intentions... Honestly, it seems to me, the general population has no clue and lives in a bubble believing only what they learned in their high school health class, If you BD, youll get pregnant. I used to live in that bubble. It was a nice place to be.

This is a tough journey for us. Try to keep your head up when these Boneheads come around spouting off. Then come here and post about it, so we can all poke fun and laugh at their cluelessness together!

Urgh! I'm sorry. People are stupid. If you get pregnant easily... then take BC and be careful. Otherwise, live it up. Annoying!

people can be so insensitive. I guess if you've never had trouble, it's easy to say stupid comments like that. I am so sorry - it doesn't get easier to hear things like that. it's true what others have written....most people are CLUELESS about infertility. I know I was prior to dealing with it.

Thanks for the support ladies. I know that for someone who has never had trouble getting pregnant, and has had quite the opposite problem, that it may be an issue to them to get pregnant so easily, since they don't know any different. I know these comments aren't intentional, especially since she doesn't know that I am having troubles TTC.

I appreciate all the support I get from everyone on this site. It is so amazing! :)
