I don't have personal experience with this, but my brother- and sister-in-law do. They were set on only two, but my sister-in-law just had the urge to have another. They had a third and finally feel settled. If they didn't have the third, I think they would have gone on wondering if their family was complete. They are well off and my sister-in-law stays home with the kids. However, I also came from a family of three kids and my parents both worked. It can be done!

I come from a family of 5 kids. Dad worked and mom stayed home. here in Utah most families hit at least 3 kids... My sister is now preggo with her 4th. I only have 2 (twins) but I also feel the need for another. I'd like to have a boy. Hard thing for me is my husband isn't on board yet.... either way lots of people do 3 or more kids. In you case it gets easier because your older child is already attending school.

I definitely think its doable, but thats also something you guys have to make sure you are ready for. but let me just say, i HIGHLY doubt you would regret any child you have, but its possible you could regret a child you don't have. i would guess 99% of people that get pregnant, whether on purpose or not, never regret that child.

so if you end up having a child, i dont think you would regret it, but its also a decision you probably don't want to rush into and since your already a mom of two, i'm sure you know that wayyy better than me! :) good luck!

Thanks so much ladies for the comments. My husband isn't exactly on board with my idea yet, but I am working on him! I also have mirena IUD which I would have to have removed. I really would love another baby!

I was in a similar situation. I have 2 children from a previous relationship and my husband doesn't have any biological children. He was fine with the 2 we already had. After we got married, I wanted another one, but was also content with the 2 i already had. We were NTNP, and ended up getting pregnant. Unfortunately, I lost that baby. After that, baby making mode kicked in! I guess we didn't realize how much we really wanted another one until we got pregnant that first time. I work full time, and thankfully have a lot of support from my parents who help with childcare. Good luck to you!

I had 3 miscarriages and then had a healthy baby. She is 13 months old and I would LOVE to get pregnant again. I've always wanted a big family anyway, but after the miscarriages I was determined to have a few babies, lol. I still mourn my babies and it's been a few years. It's only me and my brother and i've always wanted at least 3. I think what you're feeling is completely normal. It's very okay to want another baby even though you already have 2. I don't think 3 is too many, but you and your husband will have to decide that. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Well, I had my Mirena taken out today. Here we go again! Although I was told by my doc. I could try any time, I am going to wait until I have one full cycle. Wish me luck and thanks so much for your comments!

My Aunt has three children, one special needs. She works as a nurse sometimes at night and others during the day. But as long as you have a good support system, it's totally doable!

I used to work with women who had 3 kiddos. Its def doable. Im one of three girls, my mom worked. Now a days.. lots of mamas work. I grew up knowing that my mom worked to provide for us; and when she was home; she spent her time with us. So.. of course! (ps- my mom worked over nights; and days switching back and forth for everr) :) Dont deprive yourself.. go with your instincts and everything'll work out!

I have two older siblings & my mom said her only regret is that she only had 3. I plan on having at least 3! It's totally doable! =)

I have a girl and a boy too. My son is 3 months old and I'm in between trying again. Decided we want 3 so I figure why not just get it over with now?? Good luck on your ttc journey! Maybe I'll see you there lol

my grandma and grandpa had 14 kids one every year starting from age 18. it is very do-able. only you know your circumstances and financial situation and know what is best for you and your family. good luck!
