So my mother and I started looking into doing the HCG diet and we went to the doc today and got the b12 shot and the shots we have to give ourselves every day in the stomach. They gave us a booklet which explained about the diet who started it etc... so my mom reading as were driving and it says that they also used this as a fertility treatment interesting lol and I got all excited. Then I was talking to my friend and she told me that she knows of 5 women that were on this diet and ended up pregnant.
I decided that since it's been 9 months of trying since my ectopic and we haven't gotten pregnant the only thing that has changed has been my weight. So possibly this is why I haven't been able to get pregnant or ovulate some months. So I am going to put the ttc in the back of my head and focus on making myself healthier because this diet totally changes your eating habits for a lifetime change. I completely stopped drinking soda two days ago and I used to drink 4 or more sodas a day. I have been getting headaches from the caffine withdrawl but other then that I am glad I am changing and hopefully I will get some positive results and maybe even a BFP. As soon as I know that I am pregnant I will of course stop the shots and resume a normal diet but until then life changes and healthier eating habits await me.
Crossing fingers tis does something other then just have me lose weight!!!

I have a friend who lost 65 lbs on HCG injections and has kept it off (with diligence). I, too, know several people who got pregnant on HCG and had read a LOT about its increase to fertility...it is in the original manuscripts, too way back when...Good luck & sticky baby dust to you!

I wish you all the luck! I had the same mentality after my mc in December. Weight just had to be my problem. I've recently lost 30lbs and hoping it works as well. I'm doing a B12 and phentermine diet program. I'm monitoring everything so if I do get a BFP i know to stop the meds right away. Baby dust to you!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
