my temp has been staying high and i've been having all these pregnancy symptoms lately. I was sooooo sure this was it. but i did a test yesterday and it came up negative. it just hurts so bad. i am so tired of this. i have gone thru it so many times. i would give almost anything to get a positive test.

I so can relate to what you are feeling. When that 2 ww is up, we don't want to see AF or a BFN. We want a BFP! But when AF comes or we see that BFN, it breaks our heart. But I know that I can still try again and again if needed. So keep your head up.

Don't give up and remember you have a support system in us. Good luck and prayers to you.

I totally know what you mean. It does hurt. For me, a part feels good to be done waiting, another part grieves for the loss. You are not alone!! Keep talking about it, stay positive.

you get to the point where you stop hoping because you can't keep getting kicked in the teeth. That's not to say you dont keep trying but I think your perspective changes from this time is really going to be it! to, well, we'll see. and not expecting it. That's not to say be a pessamist. Not at all. Im reading a book called survivor's club. It talkes about surviving every kind of situation and one thing that really got me was when he was talking about prisoners in vietnam. He said you can guess the pessamists didn't make it, but you may be surprised that neither did the optamists. They kept setting themselves up for dissapointment again and agin with faulty goals they had no control over such as: you'll see, we'll be outta here by christmas. Christmas comes and goes with no changes. Ok, "valentines day and I'll be at home with the family..." and feb. 14 comes and goes....What happens is they slowly give up and just start dying. The author said that doesn't leave us with no hope, we just have to be realists and not set ourselves up for this crushing dissapointment. I did reach my breaking point and it's not fair to yourself, your family who loves you and your husband. You have to have the attitude, maybe I'll get pregnant, maybe I won't. Ofcourse we hope for it. Ofcourse we are dissapointed, but it's not that crushing, I really sold myself a story, kind of dissapointment. Then, get help, be it psycological, and also with your OBGYN. I have my first appt. with a fertility specialist on tuesday. It's just another step. Good luck to you. Be kind to yourself.
