Trying To Conceive Support Group
Whether you are just beginning your journey to create your family, or you have been trying for a few months, the TTC community will provide you with a group of like minded people who can help. It takes up to a year for the average fertile couple to achieve a successful pregnancy, and here at DailyStrength you will find information and support while you are waiting for...
It's also possible that you are going to ovulate very late this month, and thus AF will be late too.... If you didn't already know, there's a lot of common reasons for women to ovulate late: stress, illness, travel, weight gain/loss, change in exercise habits.... anything that can physically stress your body and make your body say, "this is not a good time to get pregnant; I'm going to wait to ovulate!" :) (My body seems sensitive to those sorts of things.... I'm late fairly often, but it looks like I still ovulate on those late cycles, I just ovulate late. Not pregnant yet though, so we'll see!)
Drinking alcohol the night before can also sometimes affect your temps.... illness with fever will obviously affect your temps... maybe certain drugs too? Not sure on that. Waking up an hour or two before taking your temp will also affect it, even if you fall back asleep.
(I charted temps for 6 months a while ago -- we weren't TTC yet, but I wanted to figure out why my cycle was irregular since a quack doctor scared me by telling me I wasn't ovulating at all. I *think* he was wrong because I do see temp shifts and CM, but I'm not pregnant yet so who knows! Now I'm just checking CM; if we don't get pregnant in a few months I might try charting temps again even though it's a pain!)
