So I made an appt with the obstetrician/gynecologist January 11 and I was wanting to discuss Clomid with him. I have a co worker who has PCOS and was put on Clomid to have her 2nd baby and she had success the first round and had a healthy baby boy. Her aunt also used Clomid and got pregnant on the first cycle with QUADS! I was just wondering if anyone on here has used Clomid and it work and how many cycles did it take???

I took 100mg of Clomid for 2 months and am now 20 weeks with twins. I think it depends on what the actual issue is and how soon the doctor can find the right dosage for you as to how quickly it will work. I know a few people it didn't work for, but they had some issues that required more intervention than just taking medication. My cousin was one of those people and she now has 2 beautiful babies! Don't give up hope if Clomid doesn't work right away for you. Give it a little time and know that there other options if need be. Good luck!

I'm hoping to be put on clomid at my next appointment, February 2nd. I'm really hoping it doesnt take long to figure out the right dosage to make me ovulate. WOW twins!! That must be sooo exciting! Congrates!!!

The only thing I'm scared about is that the Dr. will have an issue with my age or marital status... I'm 20 (gonna be 21 this year) and engaged (not married). We have been living together for a couple of years and have been dating since I was 17. Hell, in a few more years we will be common-law married lol. I would rather have a child young then wait years and then start treatments and my PCOS be more severe and it be even harder to get pregnant. I am blessed to know at a young age that I have PCOS, other than women who are infertile for MANY years and then are not diagnosed till their 30's and 40's when their chances are much more slim. I want to start now at exploring my treatments cause, hey if Clomid doesn't work, I still have many years to try different treatments (or save up $$ for IVF or something) @Ayreish... congrats on the TWINS... I love twins! I hope they are healthy and beautiful!... @patiently.... I go in a week and I'm so nervous, yet excited! I hope 2012 will be our year

I was on clomid it took me 3 cycles to get pregnant, but I am now 13 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby, good luck, I hope all works out for you!
