my theory is that if you use the turkey baster method and get dh to insert it right when your having an orgasm, your muscles will contract and suck it into your cervix. that seems like the best way if you aren't having ewcm but my guess is as good as yours.
i never used the method because i've not ovulated in awhile, but i was going to use these instructions. hopefully this will work for you as well.

also i know there are products of some sort that are meant to catch the sperm and keep it near your cervix and the i would think if you could try that while having another orgasm it might suck that up into your cervix.
the method iwas trying was dh was trying to place himself as close to my cervix as possible and then i would rotate on the bed very awkwardly where my hips were elevated against hte wall, so as to cause the semen to run all the way to the bottom near my cervix (so essentially, my hips were upside down) and then i would orgasm a few more times in order to get those contractions that would push the semen in. now, i wasn't ovulating so i didn't get pregnant, but as soon as i get clomid, and ovulate i plan on using this method again.
also, sometime you can have ewcm and its near the cervix and it might not be enough for you to detect on the tp. so i would also suggest that you keep taking fertile cm or something of that nature bc it might be creating some ewcm near the cervix. and what can it harm really? i guess you've got nothing to lose in that dept.
please understsand that this is my uneducated advice. i am just using my own logic which might not be correct. maybe just research turkey baster method and see what you can find.
i almost question whether or not i can call it ttc if i'm not even ovulating....does that count? lol ugh
i'll probably get the clomid in a couple months.
I'm not sure what part of fish oil helps with the CM, but just for general health, regulating cholesterol, etc., my doctor said the important thing to look for was the amount of DHA and EPA on the nutrition label -- ignore the mg on the front of the bottle. He recommended approximately 900 mg total of DHA + EPA (which means you may need to take up to 3 pills a day depending on the brand). Plus, it's recommended that you take DHA with your prenatals because it's very beneficial to baby's brain and eye development! (Most prenatals that contain DHA have less DHA than a high quality fish oil pill, though.) I take Carlson brand liquid fish oil because I can't swallow those giant horsepills most brands make ;) It's also mercury free, and doesn't give me "fish burps" like some cheap fish oil pills do (ewww....) If you do take a pill, look for one that is "enteric coated" so you don't taste fish all day!
