Trigeminal Neuralgia Support Group
Trigeminal neuralgia, or Tic Douloureux, is a neuropathic disorder of the trigeminal nerve that causes episodes of intense pain in the eyes, lips, nose, scalp, forehead, and jaw. Trigeminal neuralgia is considered by many to be among the most painful of conditions.
My dad who is 68 has neuralgia. He says the pain starts from the
base of the tounge on left side. Started 4 years ago. However, he was not having any issues last 2 years with a medication.
He came to USA visit me in January and all of a sudden his pain started again. He said that he had pain once in the airplane as well.
Does cold weather and pressure change will cause pain come back? Please suggest any remedies that works for you guys!
thanks a lot
Suresh
Yes, allergies any type of pressure change causes break through pain. Heat and sun are not my friend either... The medication fog and memory problems get me aggravated at times and that causes more pain. It gets old real fast. I try to be positive and smile every day. :)
