Trigeminal neuralgia, or Tic Douloureux, is a neuropathic disorder of the trigeminal nerve that causes episodes of intense pain in the eyes, lips, nose, scalp, forehead, and jaw. Trigeminal neuralgia is considered by many to be among the most painful of conditions.
Has anyone on high doses of Neurontin notice weight gain and tooth decay as a side effect?
I'm on 2700mg daily for 3 years now and I've put on a lot of weight (most of it fluid in my legs) and I am having trouble with my teeth (could also be made worse by the fact sometime brushing my teeth is a trigger).

Stay hydrated, as mild dehydration will cause you to feel tired, and when taking this medicine, take it with plenty of liquid.
Do a regular wake up routine flexing your toes, feet, ankles, legs, knees, hips to help the muscles wake up in flow motion which will help you reduce the swelling in the legs.
Have the doctor check out your legs as well.
