Hi group so wanted to give everyone an update on me and my health.
I was in the hospital for observation Tuesday night after I blacked out and had to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance. I was disoriented but I was able to call my aunt who called 911 for me. When I called her she said I asked her was she busy then I my speech was very slurred and incoherent.
So I was discharged on Wednesday and about 8pm I was sitting here with my grandmother and we were talking and all of a sudden I started seeing sparkly things everywhere. Then my face started getting numb and things went black. My grandmother held my hands and made me slow my breathing down and ran into the kitchen, got some maple syrup and poured it in my mouth. Within a few seconds my vision started clearing and my speech started coming back...within a minute I was back to normal. But this happened again two other times that night. She told me my blood sugar was dropping. She knew because it had happened to her before.
So today I have been eating every few hours, making sure I eat things that have protein, carbs, etc., in them. Over the past 5 weeks since I've been having so much pain in my face from my TN I've not been eating much at all. The bulk of my diet has been Ramen noodles and yogurt......that diet has caused my blood sugar to bottom out.
Remember my TN family, take care of yourself and EAT a BALANCED diet!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
