Would love to know how others have done with it and would be happy to post my daughters possible progress as well.
This topic is what lead me to this group. In past posts, there seems to be some success with this supplement.
Here's a link to an "older" NAC discussion that has alot of info. It's from this DS group site.

2 500mg inositol
2 1000 mg vit C
Then at bedtime I take 200 mg of 5-HTP
My daughter is 16 and has been on NAC and inositol. We tried different ways to take all of them(in the a.m./p.m, 1/2 in morning/p.m) She was on other meds that had weight gain. She didn't feel they were doing anything. I didn't want to give up on the NAC (2nd time) but at 16 I had to let her have her say. I am very interested in the special NAC/inositol combo. I have directed her to this site (AGAIN) in hopes she has someone to share her feelings with. I became a member 3 years ago. It's a tough cross to bear and I am sending out a great big hug for all you brave sufferers!! Maybe this coming year she will be mature enough to step out and trust someone here. Thanks.
