Hi all! this is sort of indirectly related, and I feel I don't have many people to talk to these days so I'll post here.
But I feel like maybe volunteering would help me with my pulling. At least, maybe it would do something psychologically for me and it has always been a goal of mine to do something meaningful.
I'm starting graduate school next year and so this summer I would like to fulfill my goal of doing some meaningful volunteer work abroad. Does anyone know of any organizations for adult volunteer opportunities abroad? I tried googling but I got overwhelmed and couldn't tell what was legitimate or not.
I also feel like maybe being in another place around people I don't really know would keep me from pulling since I don't pull in front of people. So I could help the world and help myself at the same time!

I don't know about in your area-but keep looking for things/people/places you are interested in...So you will find a good match to something of interest. Hospitals, Working with the elderly, Working with animals, Gardening, Zoo's, etc... Other ( Art Galleries, Libraries, Theatre-help set up set designs etc...) Thinking outside the box is good too.
