not hate yourself. I am 29 years old
and have done this for over 20 years. This is such a difficult thing to live with, and I have pulled all of my eyelashes out several times. I felt ashamed, embarrassed, and depressed because I did it. I did care what people thought. One of the best pieces of advice that I can give you is to say that you are beautiful, regardless. It will
be okay. And if people are going to judge you, forget them. The ones that love you will love you for who
you are. My family had a difficult one accepting it, but they became more supportive over the years. I'm not sure if this would be effective for you or how old you are, but I currently read a small book, How to Stop Pulling Out Your Hair, and it has really helped me. I'm married, and my husband loves and accepts me for having lived with this and struggling with it throughout the years. Have you talked to your parents about counseling? Please keep your head up. I understand what you are going through.
It can be difficult to stop- but don't give up! That is the single worst thing you can do. There's no easy solution to stopping- every person has a different path they must take to end the pulling. That's why we're all here- to help one another find that way and offer support! Look through other posts here and read what helped others- try those. If that doesn't work, keep trying.
And as others have said- inner beauty will always be more important than what you look like. Anyone who says otherwise is not worth befriending. Don't let these people bring you down!
Best of luck!
