So, I shaved my head last night, not completely bald, but really short. It's too short to pull, but I still have some bald patches where I've pulled recently, So I will be wearing a hat till it all grows back evenly. i'm so proud of myself that I did it, I did it myself too. And I wasn't up all night pulling which feels really really good. And today will be my first pull free day in years. I recommend this to anyone who has been considering it. I wanted to wait till I had a wig first, but it's going to be along time before I can save enough for a good one, and I have been wanting to go swimming for years, I just wanted to get rid of it, make it so it's impossible to pull, my brain will have to retrain itself and find something new. I've been rubbing my head a lot though, and i'm going to get fake nails as soon as my hair grows long enough to grip onto and pull, and to make the hair grow faster, I'm still messaging extra virgin olive oil onto my scalp and washing it out in the morning. It stimulates hair growth. And you know what, I don't have as bad of a shaped head as i worried i would have. lol. It's really not as bad as I thought it would be, it really feels pretty good. I know's it's not even been one day, but I feel like this will help me so much. I tried on one of my brothers hats and omgosh I looked like a boy. lol. but thats cause I had no makeup on, I think if i had makeup on i could look like one of the bald girls that you see on America's Next Top Model lol!! You know how if you see a guy with bald or really short hair, sometimes they have like a white scar that doesnt grow hair, I have one of those, I didn't think It would be as bad as it is, It's a scar I got when a girl brass knuckled me and one of the hair clips I had on at the time to cover up the spot, dug into my head and I had a huge gash. Just adds to the few other bald spots...But that spot will never grow back, but it's not from pulling, so I dont worry about that as much, don't know why I went on about that but yeahhh.... it reallly feels good.
