for the first year of my very first/current serious relationship, i refused to let him know that i had a problem. i thuoght he'd run away, and taht for whatever 'crazy' reason that he had liked me for would be erased by the discovery of bald spots... it all mounted up until one day i was having a break down and he asked me why, and i was feeling so weak that i just told him... i have never been more surprised in my entire life. he hugged me and listend to the entire story and turns out, he pulled his hair as a child! at that point i had never known anyone else before who had pulled, so it was huge for me... he's been by my side for hte past four years, and i've never had a more supportive someone. he's given me the self confidence i've always been lacking, knowing that someone loves me.. shelley, you can do it. don't limit yourself because you feel your trich has taken over your life; you are not your trich, your trich happens to be a part of you. a guy who is worth spending time wtih will understand your problem and be a benevolant suppport base, not a location for more stress. somtimes its best to see people for what they show.. if a guy displays his affection, he could really mean it; maybe give him a try. and remember, you're worth the attention and love; you're trying to fix your trich, you're looking for support, and you definatly deserve it. no one should ever tell you or make you feel differnetly..
