So I'm an eyebrow/eyelash puller. I will be in Hawaii for the summer and would REALLY like to scuba dive, but I can't (more like won't) until I have my eyebrows back. (i'm more comfortable with people seeing me without eyelashes, but eyebrows?! definitely not!!! I refuse to let anyone see me with no eyebrows.)
I have been really dedicated lately, and with therapy, I think i have been doing better. My eyebrows are more grown in than they have been in a LONG time, but they still don't really look like eyebrows yet. But they are getting there! And i'm praying that before I leave hawaii, they will be grown in enough to the point that i am comfortable swimming (since I have never been able to find an eyebrow pencil that survives swimming underwater)
I saw a picture of a woman in a scuba mask. It looks like her eyebrows are COMPLETELY inside the mask. So I would assume, her eyebrows never actually have to get wet? Which would be wonderful, because maybe i don't have to wait until my eyebrows grow back at all. Maybe i don't have to be afraid to go scuba diving. Maybe I can just paint my eyebrows like normal, and just make sure when i go in the water they are inside the mask!!!
So my question is for anyone who has ever snorkled, scuba dived, etc, before. Will I be able to get away with drawing in my eyebrows and go scuba diving without the water washing away my pencil? Or will water inevitably get in the mask?? I would be VERY careful!
i really hate that I cannot enjoy certain things because of my trich...but I have improved recently, and hopefully I will keep improving!!!

its waterproof so much that i can wakeboard and take some pretty nasty falls to my face and it still be great!
dont let trich stop you from living your life any longer.
but DO, continue to use this as motivation to get your hair back, because how awesome would it be to not have to worry about it at all and be free and natural and even more beautiful?? you CAN do this
ive tried a few other waterproof pencils that have been so NOT waterproof, which has been really aggravating! thanks so much for the recommendations!
and you are both right, i need to have fun! it is hard though cuz i'm so self concious but maybe if i force myself to do it i'll realize i'll probably have more fun than be worried about my eyebrows, i just need to take the leap!
