So last year around this time I was pull free for 4 months. Then around decemeber to January I had a bad fight w my husband. Ever since then, I have been pulling. I'm close to having to use eyeliner to cover up my spots, and I really don't want to do that. I wonder if I can stop again. :/

I pull bad when I get in a fight with my man too...But even when I am happy as can be I pull. I think this is linked to an axiety problem and I am going to talk to a doctor about getting anxiety meds to calm me down. Maybe then it will cure this

Medicines help but the sad truth is they are not a cure. most anxiety meds and anti-depressants are just a band-aid. they cover the problem but don't fully get rid of it. I have been on many different types of meds at all different strengths but in the end I don't feel like myself. the best thing to do is learn to manage the anxiety w/out meds. I suffer anxiety attacks and I have learned to calm myself down enough to stop the attack. I had an attack so bad that I lost consciousness and my husband almost took me to the hospital b/c i stopped breathing but i somehow pulled through and refused to go to the hospital. after that i taught myself to stop the attack right in its tracks. i still feel anxiety but the attack are fewer.

You can definately stop again. there will be relapses from time to time. I have never been pull free but there have been times where I pull less. We are here for ya. You can do it.

thanks guys =] what stopped me last time was i learned to control my hands...i would clean, or something. anything with my hands. but i can't seem to control them anymore. today has been a good day though. i haven't pulled one hair today, so i hope i can continue this..

katielynn, you can TOTALLY do this! You've proven it, four months is quite an accomplishment! Think positively and make small goals. Hour by hour, day by day, you'll regain control.

I wear fake nails to help me. You dont have to get the super long ones but I wear fake nails and my nails get in the way of my pulling. The only way I can pull is if one pops off or I grab the tweezers. Then im screwed!

Oh wow! I've been using eyeliner for the last month or two & I normally don't use it. I just can't keep walking around w/out it 'til these lashes grow back. It's so disturbing & they won't grow in fast. Good luck.
