Impulsive control disorder is the inability to resist an urge, temptation, or impulse, even when it may cause negative effects to the self or to others. If you or a loved one suffers from impulsive contorl disorder, join the community to find support and share your challenges with others who know what you're going through.
I bet if you kept it short for an extended period of time, until the urge to pull was gone, you could grow it out again.
It's perfect as a temporary solution to even out bald patches so you can start over with a full head of hair. Or for a time in your life when hair is just not a priority and you don't want to worry about it. Or if you just want a break from the stress and anxiety of pulling. It isn't a permanent solution (unless you're happy with shaving it for the rest of your life), but it's still a damn good one, in my opinion.
If you're trying to work up the courage, I say go for it! It's AMAZING how liberated you feel when all your hair is too short to pull. And your head will feel awesome and you'll want to touch it, and you'll be able to do so without guilt. You'll love it! :)
hope it will work with you
I'm thinking about getting silly putty or something for when I'm stressed out.
I just signed up to do the microdot extensions and I have heard that they work but you would have to live in the area to get it done.... micro dot extensions in NYC or Edgewater park nj.
