So, I was really really proud of how well I was doing with my trich. my eyebrows had grown in pretty well and I looked almost normal again. Then last week happened. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. Last week I was to the point where I could test. All the evidence this time pointed to me being pregnant since this cycle was so much different than the others. My emotions were an absolute rollercoaster and I was completely stressing out. The urges started coming back and I would pull a few but would manage to stop. My eyebrows were slowly starting to thin again. Then on Thursday the ultimate negative happened when the witch showed up. I as devastated. I have never been so sure about something, it totally crushed me. I cried off and on all day. I was completely miserable and the urges got worse. There are still some eyebrow hairs, but it's taking even more makeup to cover it again :( I need to somehow regain control. It's like I got hit with a double whammy, total domino effect. I'm trying very hard to just move forward, but I'm not finding it as easy to control the urges as when I first decided I was done pulling. I know some of you are already aware of what happened last week for me, but I needed to get this totally off my chest and ask for some support and encouragement as I slowly try and regain control. This has been a very rough emotional week for me. It completely put me out of the Christmas spirit which is making me more depressed. I could really use some positive vibes sent my way. As always I'm grateful for all your support.

Trich has a combination of feelings, urges, and when the two collide, it's hard to decide what to work on first.
Where the trich is taking place with "stress triggers", it's a curtain call for distraction, which may help just a few seconds at a time.
When the trich is taking place with "comfort triggers", then a different method of awareness is happening.
As you have just seen, when both occur at the same event, what happens is the full display of "urggh!".
All I can say, keep at your goal! Relax, and know you are not alone.
