You can stop - we all can . I have stopped in the past for years at a time but unfortunately with some major marriage stress that started about 6 yrs ago my trich came back real bad.
But I am on the road to recovery now, and I feel this time it is permanent :)
This forum has helped me tremendously.
Feel free to post anything that is on your mind, and remember we are here for you. You may also message me any time if you feel inclined.
does anyone have this problem that when they have less hair, their hair seems to get greasy quicker?
But one day at a time I am healing and staying pull free - 12 days now, and I give most of the credit to this forum and the friends I have made on here.
In my 18/19 yrs of plucking my eyelashes, thoughts of my life ending never crossed my mind. I'm glad to hear you say you'd never do that. I'd love to help you stop but I can't figure that out even for myself but I keep trying. Keep trying to stay busy so you don't pull. Good luck.
My mind will constantly tell me that if I were dead it would stop.
Then I think, wow, that's a stupid way of handling things.
Yet the thought persists.
At least I'm not the only one who thinks that.
