We talked about online shopping. He doesn't have a credit card, and his income to debt ratio isn't good enough to land one. He get's all his current online stuff through his aunt, he just pays her the cash to use her card, but he's not comfortable doing this as you could imagine. We decided he should look into a prepaid visa or something, I do believe you can use those online can't you? He was also worried about his room mates (he has 3) opening the box. Why they would open his mail, I don't know...but I may never understand the male mind and that's just one of the mysteries! He said he can't lie about why they are there, he doesn't like lying. But if it comes to letting out his secret, or lying, I think he may lie. It took him 7 years to tell me....and I'm sure it will take much longer to show people.
We did talk about him eventually showing people. He says he will never do it. And he's luckless in love already so this just demolished any chance he had of finding someone. I don't think he could be happy, ever really happy, if he hides such a big part of himself. And I know all the stigma, but clothes don't make a person. And they are just clothes.
He's also worried because he is up for reassesment for the army. He wanted to join fresh out of high school but he had some knee issues. He is up to be checked again if he is still interested in the army. He is freaking out. He still want's to go, but that would mean leaving all the womans clothes behind for years. And if he could sneak some of it he would have to hide it ridiculously well.
He's also worried that people will think he is gay. He repeatedly told me he still likes girls. I dated a guy in college, one date, his personality stunk in the end, who wore girls lacy thongs. He was upfront about it, he said they made him feel sexy. I still went on the date, and if there had been chemistry we would of gone again. He was straight. I tried to tell my friend that you can be straight and cross dress, but now that he has finally admitted to himself out loud, and to a few select others, he is questioning his own sexuality I think.
