Here is a forum for us to post song titles and/or bands that give us personal strength.
I know Christians who are devoted to God get strength from gospel songs. Now while I believe in Jesus, gospel music just does nothing for me, to the point where I can't even stand to listen to it.
My inner strength comes from metal. Mainly Five Finger Death Punch and Pantera. They write about strength and personal struggle. Cemetery Gates from Pantera got me through my mom's death. When I see people thumping their beliefs on people I turn to Burn It Down by FFDP. And here recently I have been on a binge of Lift Me Up by Five Finger Death Punch, as well as Mama Said Knock You Out, from their album The Wrong Side of Heaven & The Righetous Side of Hell Volume 1. Burn It Down is from War Is The Answer, and Cemetery Gates is from Cowboys From Hell. When I am feeling emotional I turn to Remember Everything by FFDP from the album American Capitalist. When I am feeling a bit anxious to the point of anger I turn to Salvation from FFDP from The Way of the Fist album. When I feel like whatever I do is not enough I turn to Never Enough by FFDP also from The Way of the Fist. When people love to gossip, I turn to War Is The Answer which is about people talking behind your back.
So pretty much all of my inner strength can mainly be found in these songs.

... I would say that what gives me inner strength though, or lifts me up and empowers me comes mostly from Robbie Williams .... "old before I die" or "feel" (Thats a really great one 100% reccomend it) and Take That has "SOS" and "The Flood"
Robbie Williams is a member of Take That (a band) which makes them amazing. I just really appreciate his music, because while some of it is strange, other parts of it are really raw, and you can feel the pain or depression he has been through, but has now almost overcome.
"Feel" is a great song. And "Strong". ~it's just so beautiful it's true! But sadly most people haven't heard of him, cuz he's British, and not really mainstream in the US
