so i live around some of the most open minded people i know. i love my friends they all have my back and have no problem with me on the fact that im "gay". some of them know im trans/genderqueer but they dont really get it and i cant seem to explain it but some how i need to get the fact into there heads that im not a lesbian(im sorry if i offend anyone but that word creeps me out when its used to describe me, especially cause i dont identify as a girl). i think they cant wrap there heads around the fact that i like women but i dont identify as either sex so i cant be a lesbian cause if i did have to chose i identify with men way more then i do women. so i need a way to come out to them officially and to explain it in a way they can understand, i mean i dont really mind the female pronouns (even though i prefer gender neutral or male pronouns) ive been called them all my life and i dont mind them calling me by my birth name (even though it does make me mad, a lil) but i do mind the fact that they call me a lesbian or as my gay friends like to say a big old dyke its starting to piss me off. also i think i need to tell my mom soon cause i think seeing a gender therapist would be in my best interest to get acquainted with now cause i have major depression problems that arent being helped by my "gender identity crisis or DGIC" as my friend likes to call it.
so any opinions on how to explain this to them cause i was thinking GSA friends explanation first and then im stuck on my other friends
and should i tell my mommy or wait until im otta her in two years i mean she dealt with the gay thing really badly but at least she didnt kick me out right and she got over it last year and doesnt bother me as much about having really close friends that are girls
also if i dont tell her anybody have any ideas on how to keep my hating my own body thing down to a bear minimum.
any thanks for any advice

I dont think you owe anybody any explanations, but try not to get too worried about the labels others use. As for your mom, if you think she would react negativly, you might want to wait.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
