It was a Monday morning, I decided to go to a soup kitchen to eat some breakfast. I sat down at the table with one of my close friends, there was also a Jamaican guy with dread locks hair sitting down at the same table, someone I've seen hanging around before, but I don't know the guy personally. Anyway, the guy verbally interrupted a conversation that I was having with my close friend, by calling me "boy" followed by a racial slur of words. I turned to his attention, and I nicely suggested for him to not use "male" pronouns when addressing me. I explained to the guy about my birth defect (not that it was any of his business) but he replied by telling me to shut up or else he was going to assault me. Then he went on ranting dehumanizing me, making fun at my body and make up. At that point, I got up from my chair, and walked on over to speak with a staff member at the soup kitchen, and alert them that there was trouble, a guy threaten to assault me about my gender identity. The staff and I walked back to the table, as the staff member asked the guy to leave the soup kitchen, and then the staff turned his attention to me, to sit down at another table to finish eating my breakfast. Meanwhile the guy got up from his chair to throw his food away into the garbage. By then I had sat down at another table, then the guy returned back but he walked behind me, and there wasn't enough room space for him to walk around me, and so he intentionally pushed me and the chair up against the table, nearly hurting my breast. At that point, I was tired of being nice to this guy, as I stood up from my chair to face him. The staff member tried to stand in between us, as the guy started to put his hands around my throat, but instead he hit me in the head, as staff member escorted the guy outside the building. I called the police, and by the time they arrived at the soup kitchen, the suspect was already gone. Anyway, the police seemed confused about my gender identity, but was able to take down the report, and reports from other witnesses. The police has an idea who the suspect is, but I would have to identify the guy in order for them to make an arrest. Meanwhile, the guy remains in hiding.
